Jamal Crawford plays toro defense. He's so one dimensional it's disgusting.

Hassell has elite defense and average offense.

wally_world 07-15-2006 04:19 AM

Crawford is definetly better!

Hassell is great, just isn't there yet... Crawford is a better scorer shooter passer dribbler and is faster quicker... the list goes on

the only reason crawford has better efficiency and whatnot is because he scores a lot more, but yet crawford shoots a lower percentage than trenton hassell. trenton hassell shoots higher percentage and he's amazing on defense, id say he's more valuable than crawford, but i dont know who id say is "better."
one thing that really scares me about crawford is he shot 38% for a season that he got a 50 point game. trenton hassell isnt as gifted offensively but makes a much better role player than crawford and crawford is much better suited as a role player and doesnt make a very good one plus trentons offensive game has really come around.

Skywalker 07-15-2006 10:40 PM

Crawford is a joke like all the Knicks.

PatCummingsFan 07-16-2006 04:37 PM

JC is a decent scorer and can be deadly when he finds his stroke and can BE a headache for whoever is guarding him. But when he is running cold, he is a liability on the floor being he is not the greatest defender and can be posted up by stronger 2 guards.

Hassell can at least slow down his man and can be counted on to hit the mid range Jumper when he finds himself open for the J.

Hassell's defense is SO much better that this is actually quite funny...

Apples to oranges people...

KnicksFan4Life 07-17-2006 10:53 PM

You are all raving about Hassell's defense, but it's not that great. Crawford is so much more talented offensivly. Skywalker, you say he is "one-dimensional", that is a retarted statement. He shoots, drives, and passes. Face it, a Knicks is better than MOST of your precious twolves

1. Go argue in the main forum that Hassell's defense isn't that great, you will get flamed because are very wrong.

2. Yeah, those are all on offense. Therefore making him ONE DIMENSIONAL, moron.

3. That didn't make sense. Learn how to write. And stop typing like this "Jamalz Crawfowd winsssdz upz and denz dropz dat hammah on teh headz yeahz?"

When do I ever type like that? Go find an example ANYWHERE on this site, and I will admit to being wrong. But Crawford is not one-dimensional, he does many different things on offense. If Jamal is one-dimensional, then that would make Steve Nash one-dimensional:rollingeyes: .

Skywalker 07-22-2006 11:38 PM

Nooooo, becuase Steve averages 19 and 11 or something.

Jamal averages like 18 4 2 2 on a very below average team.

You are contidicting yourself, you say Crawford is one-dimensional because he olny plays offense. You are just telling me more of Nash's offense.

Skywalker 07-24-2006 09:12 AM

He is one dimensional. It doesn't matter how I tell you, you'll disagree even though it's the obvious truth.

You are delusional.

KnickFan4Life2 07-24-2006 10:10 AM

I thought I brought up a good point, if Jamal is "one-dimensional" then wouldn't that make Nash "one-dimensional"

albertpujols 07-25-2006 09:50 PM

If you need a scorer, youv'e got Jamal Crawford. If you need a low-key defensive smart player, youv'e got Hassell.

I would choose Hassell. Just because whenever Jamal fills the stat sheet, his team loses (eg Knicks, Bulls).
