It is reported that John Salmons is headed to phoenix in exchange for a draft pick. what you guyz think? I think he can easily replace the 10 ppg that house left us with. :applause:
Is this for sure true? Where did you hear this? If it is I can see it work out. He can't shoot the three but can dish it out and is a better match up playing "D" on sg which Barbosa cant (and we all know that old guy Erik can't). Does this mean we are out of the race for a back up point and are hoping that Barbosa can adapt to this role? WE STILL NEED ANOTHER BIG! Pat Burke is GOD and for all of you who dont know this is the year of the BURKE LOL. If Tim didn't take off I would say we would be set but that money hunger F*** A**hole took off. What PF or C are even still out there for us to consider and how much money do we have to spend?
PS Nothing against Burke he is a bad motha f****
For those who dont know John Salmons was drafted (I think 26th) in 2002 and has played 4 years with the 76ers.
Last years Stats:
He is 6'6 and 207 can play the 1, 2, and 3 spots
If the trade goes down it'll really help our depth, like you guys said he can play 1/2/3, drive and dish, good defender, and his 3 point shooting is nothing the coaching staff can't fix see Amare, diaw and barbosa.
If he average 7 points in phili where Iverson and only Iverson can touch the ball he could absolutly average more than 10 or 12 ppg in PHX.
It would be a great pickup by PHX
