A forgotten player!!!

David West

not much talk about him, I personally think he's one of the best young forwards coming up... not the first tier, but I think he's in the second tier of PFs (of the young generation)... I think he's gonna be a great second or third guy in the future for a contender...

2005 was a monster year for him. he was a very good fantasy sleeper and he was putting up some solid stats. i thought forsure with chris paul joining that they would soon become something special but injuries really hurt them.

He's underrated. Can compete with the Okafor's and Jefferson's with ease.

Yeah he is underrated mostly because he is on the Hornets who aren't really cared about. He will become very solid.

CP was with him in 2005. He didn't produce before that. Last year he was hurt not only by his own injuries but Paul and the rest of the team's as well. He is a good player and a possible 20-8 type next year.

Tyson Chandler is more valuable and very underrated as well. Most underrated frontcourt in the league

had him in my fantasy team last year, was doing well before he injured himself but seemed to come back strong in the second half of the season.

could be a good double double player if he could get more boards +blocks but hey Chandler is on the floor with him so what do you expect.

i see an increase in scoring numbers for him since desmond "i never met a shot i didnt like" mase is sheduled to leave.

:oldlol:

I agree that West is underrated. And he was runner up for MIP but Boris Diaw got it.

thats right, chris paul was already on the team as a rookie in 05. but even so he was still a solid player. i also agree that is a very underrated front court. hopefully they stay healthy, make the playoffs, and give New Orleans something to cheer and be proud about.

By the majority, no they aren't, which is sad because they could have been a playoff team but EVERY member of their starting lineup was injured at some point in the year. Paul also had a screw put into his ankle, so I hope he isn't limited the rest of his career. I've seen West play in person, and I got to say his game is a lot like KG's. He has a few post moves, but likes to take jumpers off of his man. He needs to work on his rebounding though.

Definite sleeper next season. He'll be very productive if he plays every game. 20 point scorer who can hook you up with a D-squared on occasions.

Injuries really hurt last year. He can put up 20 and 10 every night though. Came pretty close to that 2 years ago.
