Salary Cap Increased.....can we sign someone?

the salary cal has increased to 53.135 millions from 49.something millions. can we sign some players using the left money. I guess we are paying luxuary tax but would this help?

It really doesn't help us as far as I know.

The threshold for luxary tax is 65.42 our payroll is 61 million. so technically we can sign a player for 4.42 million/yr. I am not sure but I hope this is correct. Article I read is here http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2516704

We can't sign a free agent without using an exception and we don't have one left. However, we can add 4.42 mil in salary and not have to pay the dollar for dollar luxury tax.
