Re: Scola.....TRANSLATION PLEASE!!!!

I've read this in many Spanish papers and they just say he "wants to go the NBA". TAU's president is not stupid, so don't expect Scola to have an easy way to resolve his buyout.

Some more info...
His buyout is 6 million €, which is like 8.28 million dollars.
Since he was drafted he's supposed to have his salary already determined by the NBA.
Now, how many years does he have to play in the NBA with that salary to pay his buyout?

Not so. He wasn't a first rounder. First round picks are the only players with pre-set payrates. Secound round picks can get whatever they want.

Didn't know about that. How much do you think they'll offer him?

Full MLE is my guess. Something like what Jason Kapono got from Toronto.

He's a great player but he fit better in SA than in Houston

I meant that Scola fits better with Duncan than with Yao.
The rockets would rather have a good defensive big than Scola.
I'm not saying Scola isn't a great option for them at PF.

Re: Scola.....TRANSLATION PLEASE!!!!

I'd like to remind everyone that the last time the Rockets dealt with the Spurs for Vernon Maxwell was dealt to the Rockets for cash.

Here is to Rockets fans:

Our GM is making some solid moves. I've trusted him and have had patience, and I will continue to do so till the end.

I'll write a blogger tonight after I come back from work for the ISH Blog (Rocket for Life), I'll try to research Scola (although I can't watch videos, 56k :( ) and provide an indepth analysis, including possible scenerios for line-ups and possible ways to use Scola. :) It will be long btw, make sure to check it out Rockets fans :D
