Re: 2021 Western Conference around 2: (1) Utah Jazz vs. (4) Los Angeles Clippers
Ersan should be in the rotation over several people. Lue is out coaching him. He's willing to try different things and see what works. COTY will make changes when it's desperation time and too late...maybe. He didn't last year and Malone did. Series Denver
What else is new, Quin is always getting outcoached.

Tim MacMahon: Jazz PG Mike Conley Jr. (mild right hamstring strain) is listed as questionable again for Game 4 vs. Clippers. He has been ruled out the morning of the previous three games in the series.

One play proves a guy who won multiple DPOYs was bad at defense?
Are you retarded?

that play shows what a stiff he was. Imagine him playing today when he couldn't stand in the paint clueless

I thought he sucked long before Gobert was alive. Can't imagine him being in the league if not for the comdian known as Frank Layden. Jazz played 4 on 5 on offense with him. It's not a coincidence that their best years were post Eaton

You think everyone sucks besides Toody and Niang.

Re: 2021 Western Conference around 2: (1) Utah Jazz vs. (4) Los Angeles Clippers
This is similar to what I saw in the Mavs series though. They tightened up their defensive rotations and took away the paint, even though Luka at times could still open things up with his 3PT shooting and his overall craftiness. Mitchell isn't Luka and I don't trust his help enough to win more than 1 remaining game. Of course the Clippers can still lose but I really liked the adjustments. Conley would have to get 75+% fast for the Jazz to have a chance IMO, you can't expect Mitchell to keep making 5+ threes a game and carry them consistently, he shoots it really well but he's not quite Dame/Steph level yet.
The thing is the Jazz are not the Mavs. They are a much better team. They will adjust and remember that the home court advantage is also in their favour not the clippers this time.
The problem I noticed with the Jazz is that they will DIE shooting 3s even if they don't fall. They need to mix it up more because the 3s become too predictable at times. The Jazz need to attack the paint way more imo, make them guess.
I don't believe in the Clippers, they can't be trusted at all, until they prove me wrong.
The mavericks was a terrible team and still took the clippers to 7 games. All the clippers did was beat Luka, now they gotta beat a TEAM.
Let's see what happens, this playoffs are unpredictable!!! The Nets will go down now in this or the next series, and nobody expected that. They are falling apart slowly...
Ill ask again. What happened with Rondo
Maybe Uncle Dennis and nephew were upset when Rondo got mad at Kawhi at the end of game 5 vs Dallas.
Because aside from game 1 of Jazz, Rondos minutes were cut by at least half, and then completely.
Re: 2021 Western Conference Round 2: (1) Utah Jazz vs. (4) L.A. Clippers
142 offensive rating for clippers in game 3. They absolutely disgraced Utah's defense, wonder what changed other then crowd noise.

He has pretty much sucked since 2019, fooled everyone (including me) with his bubble play. Made a lot of bad momentum plays early in utah series, was horrible in mavs series.

We're also left wondering why you started posting in game 3 instead of the first two games when the Jazz were washing the Clippers. I wonder what changed other than crowd noise.

Utah taking stupid ass shots and making them. Clarkson made a 3 pointer off the backboard,in clutch time ingles shot a floater that nearly went over the backboard and bounced in anyway.

"Based on the quality of possessions, the Clips were expected to win game 2 by 7, and win 74% of the time based on historic ShotQuality data"
In game 2, the Jazz Were Expected to Score 12 Less Points on Three Pointers"
Lucky as shit pretty much. But we have seen this before with kawhi and ty lue, they just end up back door sweeping you.
Re: 2021 Western Conference Round 2: (1) Utah Jazz vs. (4) L.A. Clippers
Jazz won 2 very losable games... The series based on quality of possessions:
Clippers-> 1.24
Jazz-> .76
In the Mavs-Clips series when they were down 2-0, it was similar:
Clippers-> 1.45
Mavs-> .55
Same as mavs series. Mavs were actually road warriors though and Utah sucks on the road. All clippers got to do is steal game 5 and the series is over in 6.
