It shows the effect of fatigue. Kawhi sits out every regular season and had to blow his load just to barely beat Luka and scrubs. He's tired now.

Mavericks defense was ass in that series, too.

Kawhi is not a pure offensive player; he doesn't have a natural flair for it, gifted footwork, etc. He muscles his way to mid-range shots. He can put up a lot of points but he's at his best in a system offense. I don't think Kawhi realizes how much of his success owes to having two of the best coaches in the game - Popovich, then Nurse. Tyronne Lu is not at that level. Because of that, the Clips have a ceiling.

He'll have another signature game. Sooner than later, but you might be right. Kawhi looks slower and is settling for dumb shots.
