His mobility limits him from being everywhere. Has shit to do with making a decision to protect rim and give up 3. Like I said he’s a 90’s defensive center. Guys like Mutombo and Shaq do the same. Rudy also gets explored in pick & roll situations. But I guess he’s so focused on the rim. Can’t be great everywhere.

He's plenty mobile and does fine everywhere. Better against guards than Simmons was against bigs. Most versatile defender in the game

Clips needed a 3 to tie and the shot clock was running out. Toody didnt have to worry about being driven on that play since he knew they needed a 3 so he could play him aggressive at the perimeter.
