Sean May dominates summer league.....again
May shows once again that he's too skilled for anybody in summer league. Hoopefully this time he uses that to motivate him to get in a little better shape. From this pic though its obvious that he needs to slim down a little.

If he can drop down about 10-15 pounds before opening day I feel like he would easily take Primoz starting spot and allow Meka to play the 5 (where I feel his skills would be better utilized.) But knowing May thats probably not going to happen.

I think May and Okafor should be starting together. Brezec is alright, but he would be fine as the 6th man.

think Okafor is in his best position now. has looked ok at center but can dominate at PF if healthy.

Nothing wrong with May being one of the best players in the league off the bench. Not all about the starting 5 and I don't think in the near future he's really starting standard. Not that he can't have a long and successful NBA career and I'm sure he will with us, as a role player averaging 15-20 starts a season (but playing every game he's healthy) and 15 mins a game for now at least.

I think what we could do is start both Okafor and May and have Okafor play the PF on offense and Center on defense and have May do the opposite

May is working on his outside game and turn around J to become a better foward. His skills are not set best for Center expecially at 6'8''.

May at the C position doesn't seem right. He's not the next Big Ben. Sean May has potential, but he needs to break out of his shell, and quickly. He was lackluster last year, but I believe in giving these guys time to adjust to the realm of the NBA, because the college level is nothing like the NBA. We've seen many great NCAA guys turn into NBA busts in a matter of a few seaons. I hope this isn't the case for Mr. May.

I think he would be best suited coming off the bench. He would be a borderline starter but a dynamic bench player, and possibly become a 10 and 10 guy off the bench and starting 15-20 games like someone said. He makes me think of a more skilled Othella Harrington, and I think that isn't good enough to start full season. If it was PF he was starting at and not center, then I would consider starting him, but he would still be borderline in my opinion. He could constantly become a sixth man winner, or runner up, and that is a valuable asset on every team.
