Good move for Wizards.

Some depth at the bigs off the bench and some reserve scoring.

I like it. I think the Lakers would have been better off signing Songaila and Jackie Butler (and maybe even Trevor Ariza?) instead of handing that monster contract to Radmanovic.

BTW, the Wizards really screwed up the draft (more than the Knicks)

Damm crazy year. Utah drafts 2 black players, and the Wizards sign a white guy.

Utah drafted 3 black players. Ronnie Brewer, Dee Brown, and Paul Millsap.

Radmonovic got the MLE, and Songolia got basically 4 million/5.1 million of the MLE. So, I don't think the Lakers could of gotten both Butler and Ariza for 1 million.

My apologies, but do you think Millsap will make the team, never heard of him.

If Robert Whaley made the team last year, Paul Millsap will surely make it this year. He led the NCAA in rebounding all three years he was at Louisiana Tech.

interesting signing... probably would have stuck with the bulls had they not picked up wallace. i heard he really liked his time there.

I still don't understand why the Kings gave him up, he was really good for them...

ACCBaller1403 07-17-2006 10:36 PM

It's a decent signing but it doesn't solve or really even help our biggest problem.

Boy you got that right...I was in awe in a bad way on draft night.

This is a really good signing. A big guy with finesse is something we've been really needing.

I'd be fine if we had just drafted Marcus Williams on draft night god damnit. It was never going to happen though. Grunfeld doesn't like guys with character issues. We should have traded the pick to someone who needed a PG.

Not the right move

The Wiz need some inside game and the $ spent on him keeps them
from trading for a big unless they plan to add Olowokandi for the LLE:stupid:
or maybe Lorenzen Wright:applause:
