I will never forget the way he looked shirtless in that NBA commercial. He will always be a chub chub to me. Yeah, I see that big vein running down his bicep. Yet he still looks out of shape somehow. Maybe it's the empty, stonefaced expression on his face.

JordanPippenRodman 07-19-2006 06:48 PM

Looks like Kwame Brown! Plays like him too.

geeWiz15 07-19-2006 06:56 PM

He does look like a shorter thicker version of Kwame, and maybe that's why I've developed this love-hate relationship with the player. I absolutely love his post game. But I absolutely hate everything else about him: the way he looks, the way he acts, his shot form, the team he plays on, the shoes he wears, whatever. But any SF who can work the post like can gets my love... as long as he doesn't start shooting jumpers again.

Anyone have a picture of Melo from the 2004 Olympics where he looks gigantic (fat). I never considered Melo out of shape until that pic, he had the big double chin and everything.

Terrible franchise player. Denver will never amount to anything with Carmelo "Dominique" Anthony at the helm.

Nice second option though. Would be a great fit on the Hornets as a 2nd peg to Paul.

Give me a Melo comparison? I.E. find a similar player from history in a similar situation and tell me what they have accomplished.

Glenn Robinson led Bucks.

Dominique Wilkins led Hawks.

Elgin Baylor on the Lakers.

All loser small forward with no defense.

NugzFan 07-19-2006 08:15 PM

hes his own player. a great player. keep hatin though...

All offense, no defense, a choker, and a cancer. I will continue to hate. I hope he misses out on the US team. Should be down in the lake looking for his bronze.

yeahwhathesaid 07-19-2006 08:50 PM

Melo is not a cancer, shoots 47 percent, most clutch in the nba
