Best Trio Ever

Best combination of 3 players on a team at their prime.

Also, a Trio that may not have been the best ever but was one of the most exciting to watch.

Also, I'm just curious what makes a successful Trio in your opinion? Talented offensive players? A big man to rebound or for down low offense? a point guard to distribute the ball between the other 2?

I'll start it off.

Best Trio ever:

Bulls- Jordan/Pippen/Rodman

Lakers-Magic/Kareem/Worthy

Celtics-Bird/McHale/Parrish

Pistons-Isiah/Dumars/Laimbeer

Most Exciting to watch:

Suns-Nash/Marion/Amare

Warriors- RUN TMC-Hardaway/Richmond/Mullins

Let's get real. This is the best trio ever. Come with it.

JPR is pretty devastating, but I like the Bird, Parish, Mchale combo.
Moses, Doc and Cheeks stands out in my mind, and then Cap, Magic and Worthy.

I say Jordan, Pippen and Rodman. Perfect mix of chemistry, success, offense, defense and marketability. They had it all.

Too many for just 1. In no order:

Bird/McHale/Parish
Magic/Kareem/Worthy
Jordan/Pippen/Rodman
Jordan/Pippen/Grant
Malone/Erving/Toney (for one year)
Thomas/Dumars/Vinnie
Hakeem/Horry/Drexler (95 playoffs anyway)
Wilt/Baylor/West (none were in their prime unfortunately)
Shaq/Kobe/Fox
Duncan/Ginobli/Parker or
Duncan/Ginobli/Bowen

So close yet:

Webber/Peja/Bibby (well they were pretty good in the reg. season)
Garnett/Sprewell/Cassell
Cassell/Allen/Robinson

Next gen:

Howard/Darko/Nelson
