pacers new line up

so guys what do you guys think of the Pacers new line up as of so far?? who knows Walsh and Bird might still have a few more trades they're working with

Tinsely/Armstrong
Jackson/Sarunas
Granger/Daniels
Harrington/Foster
Oneal/Harrison

Well, I don't quite know what to make of the lineup. Hopefully we are not yet done making moves, as I'd like to see move Jackson and perhaps Tinsley (if we can get a point back in those moves, of course). However, this team is at least more talented than we were last season after Artest demanded the trade.

to be honest, i am kind of skeptical of tinsely and jackson, but im sure if tinsely wasnt injured, he would be good, and the thing with jackson is, he is a good role player, not a #1 scoring option, which he turned out to be when everyone was injured. If he was the #3 option (which will probably happen if JO and Harrington are healthy), im sure he would be fine, he just cant take all the pressure of being that #1 option, hes a spot up jump shooter, and last season he was forced to change his role

I like the philosophy behind it. They are certainly capitalizing on the trend around the league...and perhaps taking it to an extreme. All the new guys are a hybrid....few prototypical position types. And it will certainly provide some insurance in the event of injuries. BUT I think we still need to make another move. I think Sarunas might be gone soon....and hopefully for a pure shooter. Obviously a big who can score would be nice...but then why not just wish for Bird to find the fountain of youth.

I am keeping my expectations low...that way there is only upside. One thing I WILL say...is that I am not going to underestimate Walsh or Bird...they've done good by us so far.
