Hes been out of the first round recently unlike LA. Beggars can't be choosers

ps: He and Kobe are cool. His nephew's (kid who chose #55 for him) name is even Kobe (probably just a coinicidence)

Don't Kobe and other people in general not get along?

I already said it, I really do think they're going after Webber. Why else do you dump two serviceable players for one if not to free up a spot for a particular free agent?

That depends on whether he'd be happy to accept 15-20 minutes per game without complaining.

If he is.. and he's in shape.. sure.

he wants the ball too much in his hands.....I would like to have him....but i wont ...I would go for someone else like PJ Brown...who can be a good mentor to the lakers puppies

Boykins is out there too. Just saying. Surely they want a little depth, so it wouldn't surprise me.

but please. No more ****ing old farts on the LA team! No more Aaron Mckie type players or Brian Cook players that end up being bad.

I think a better question is, would Webber be interested in the Lakers?

The dude is holding out to jump on a sure-fire contender AND an oppritunity for major burn.

I would welcome Chris Webber in a heartbeat. Great basketball IQ who fits perfectly into the triangle offense as the Pivot Point. Posting up and dishing the ball to cutter or shooters. Standing tall and drilling a mid range shot. Even though his knees are bad, Webber would be a GREAT addition to the Lakers lineup as a starter or bench player. Id prefer to see him start.

Off to order photoshopped Webber Lakers pic...:hammerhead:

webber will be awesome as a laker.

he shouldn't hold out. he will just be regarded as a player who retired soon.

he's definitely better than cook.

I dont wont webber even if he is free...he plays zero defense and doesnt run the floor and cant finish that well. I dont think Webber would fit into the Lakers due to his defensive limitations and age
