Who would want him? He is the textbook example of "playing for a contract".

He'll be even worse without a system like D'Antioni's. No one shoud touch him.

I can see Colangelo in Toronto wanting him, the question is really do they have the pieces to make that deal work?

Any team who trades for him is getting Marcus Banks as well..

I know Cleveland possibly want do this, but I was thinking something on the lines of Boris Diaw and Marcus Banks for Gooden and Damon Jones.

Boris plays well when he is the go to man and can play multiple positions and Marcus Banks just needs playing time. We've seen what he can do when giving it. (I miss him in Boston) Phoenix loves shooters and Damon could come in and knock down a couple for them and having Gooden to back up Marion would be great.

On the other hand, why would CLE want to lose Gooden for a soft soft Diaw? contract or something?

Boston

Imagine him coming off the bench in Boston:)

Gooden is a good rebounder, though a pretty dumb player overall. Damon Jones can shoot lights out sometimes, and I think he's an expiring contract next year.

Diaw is...

They definately need a big man, but have no trading pieces for him. They would have to waive him for them to acquire him.

Wow Diaw's contract is FUGLY.

Re: BORIS DIAW on the Block......

Although Diaw is a soft player.

Diaw is a great passer for his height(6ft8)
Diaw is a great ball handler for his height and he runs the court well
Diaw has an average 3 point shot, and he can hit 15 footers with consistency

Diaw is basically the French Mike Dunleavy Jr,except Dunleavy is a better shooter.

Id love to have Diaw on my team regardless
