Clips Sign Aaron Williams

LA times reports the Clips will sign Aaron Williams pending a physical sometime this weekend. I thought he played pretty well in N.O. Thoughts?

Good move by the Clips..Adds Front Court Depth

A Will gives the Clips another backup to Kaveman and EB.
The signing makes sense and shows the influence of Dunleavy
as the defacto GM. The Clips are a team with a plan and
whether or not we trade for AI, the Clips will be the favorite
in the Pacific with Amare not up to full strength.

The Suns are the favourites in the Pacific even if Amare isn't 100%. The Clipps are a very good team top 5 in the West but the Suns are the Favourites in the Pacific. Signing A Will won't make that big of a difference in your team.

First, I like the pick-up. Secondly, we're not the best in the west...yet, but we will a definite challenger to the top 3 spots, barring injuries, of course.

For sure better than Walter McCrappy, his highlight of the Clipper season was singing at the All Star game

Great signing! This gives you a veteran who was a huge part to two Eastern Conference title teams. He also will be able to tutor rookie Paul Davis who I think was a great draft pick. Williams plays very well if given a substansial amount of minutes. Donald Sterling does have a plan, and a genius one I might add. Sure he over paid for Timmy, but I'd rather over pay for him than retain Radmanovic. He re-signed Cassell to a very nice bargain. I don't want to hear any more about Iverson coming here. First of all he will be in Philly next year and the Clippers don't need him. Do you think Cassell and Iverson will co-exist together? The two would be fighting over ball control supremacy. You also don't want to give up your future in Livingston and Maggette who gives you versatility and has been with the organization for over half of a decade. This team is definately in the top 4 for the west, maybe top 3. I can't believe the Clippers are actually trying to win with Sterling as owner! Here is their depth chart for this coming year.
SF- Ross, Thomas, Korolev
PF-Brand, Davis, Singleton
C- Kaman, Williams, Rebraca
PG- Cassell, Livingston, Ewing
SG- Mobley, Maggette, Diaz

Good addition of reserve big man

The Clips have added to their bench. This team will be tough on both ends next year whether Max is back or not. A Will adds another veteran role player who will spell the Kaveman for 5-10 minutes a game.:applause:

GREAT Signing, the man just needs to get in and give us a good 10-15 minutes a game, I expect about 4 points and 4 boards from him.
