I can realistically fix the Sonics. I hope.
Corey Maggette, F/G
Guillimero Diaz, PG
1st round pick lottery protected
L.A. Clippers receive:
Rashard Lewis, SF
Yotam Halperan, F/C
Robert Swift, C
I've heard both teams are willing to shop their starting SF's, and this trade would be pretty good for both teams. L.A. gets Rashard Lewis, who wants out of Seattle, Yotam Halperan, who will just add depth and maybe make the rotation, and Robert Swift, a talented shotblocker taken in the lottery by Seattle in 2004 I believe, who would do well coming off the bench for Chris Kaman and give almost equal defensive presence. Seattle gets a talented scorer from the perimeter in Maggette, who I think could be on the verge of breaking out, while also getting Diaz to spell Luke Ridnour, and a first round pick from L.A. to help make up for the bad drafts they've had previously.
I don't see how that would help out the Sonics. Personally I would rather have Lewis over Maggette.
Yeah, I agree, prolly just screwed Seattle up even more. However, Knicks guy, you better be nice or you will be banned.
I would also rather have Rashard Lewis. I think they might trade him if they dont want to risk losing him in free agency. He is one of their most important players and will be crucial to the team's success.
