Realistic Expectations for Next Year

I would predict a rocky season ending with jsut over 50 wins but getting atleast to late in the Conference Semis

Attila 08-01-2006 01:37 PM

I think they could get past the semis.

DeuceWallaces 08-01-2006 06:27 PM

I say regular season will be good. 55+ with the addition of Dyess' scoring and the new rules of the past year. Playoffs, well I'm not so sure. I think ECF can be counted on, moving on from there will be tough.

They'll still make the playoffs and they'll win 48-52 games...They will get eliminated in the 2nd round...

mavsfan4zindagi 08-23-2006 01:48 PM

ECF is a legit possibility, but beyond that, I don't think they have much of a chance.

ZHAKIDD532 08-26-2006 01:14 PM

really, I see 5th seed. I think, in particular order, chicago, miami, NJ, cleveland are all better right now. so the pistons I think will face one of those teams in round one, and I don't know that they'll win...

different107 08-27-2006 04:54 PM

i'd go with the semifinals myself

AKADS 08-30-2006 05:28 AM

ECF??

Cleveland almost beat u with Ben. Then and Miami are better and you will face on in the EC Semi Finals.

DeuceWallaces 08-31-2006 09:14 PM

Cavs almost beat us because of Ben. You must have watched, Z was tearing him up, totally embarrassing. Cavs will still be the 4th seed at best so you'll get stomped by us in the Semi's.

Any team counting on Z and LH aren't winning any division.

well, that says alot about the supose better defender in the NBA doesnt it ??

shaq owns him, duncan owns him, thats acceptable because those are 2 of the best of all-time but now ilgauskas owns him ?? thats what i call embarassing

final.wrath 09-01-2006 11:17 PM

yeah. dare i say he could be an overated defender? still a great defender but maybe not the king of defense hes made out to be.

DeuceWallaces 09-02-2006 11:25 AM

Hey, it's possible our defense totally stinks it up now, we have a total loss of defensive intensity, etc. I just don't think that'll happen. Rasheed and McDyess are excellent defenders and should allow our perimeter defenders to still roam and make plays.

Starbury4MVP 09-02-2006 12:58 PM

ECF possibly. I think 3rd seed. Just barely over Lebron. I think the Bulls season will be a total failure. NJ and Miami will have better records though.

they are good defenders but none of them can rebounds, block shots or intimidate like ben wallace, and certainly none of them can hang with shaq like ben wallace does.

DeuceWallaces 09-02-2006 07:51 PM

Rasheed and McDyess, and Nazr for that matter all rebound and block shots.

And it's laughable you think Ben can hang with Shaq.

Do you even watch the playoffs?
