Al Harrington officially sent to Pacers

ESPNEWS just said the Harrington deal is complete. This is how it will be:

Hawks receive:

First round pick 07

Pacers receive:

Al Harrington
John Edwards.

its a good deal financially wise, but do you think they could have got more than a draft pick?

I read this morning in an Atlanta Newspaper, that the Hawks put their offer out on the table, and that it was up to the Pacers to say magic word. So yes i imagine that the trade will be done soon, but I have NOT seen it on espnews yet. I have not looked either :hammerhead: .

trade will be completed any days now

this is not a good trade for Hawks fans. As a hawks fan I would like to see an imediate impact and by the Hawks trading for a pick this implies to me that we are still in the building phase and are hoping for some help next year. Hopefully we will get someone through FA. We really need a veteran.

Big Pacer Fan

Frist off we should have never traded Big Al he is a great player with full of engery. Second it was a good trade you got a frist round draft pick that will probally be a lottery pick but on the other hand a frist round draft pick means alot. It means probally the future of your ball club or a good trade down the road. So yes it was a good trade. Banshee is out

I believe...it's meant to be...

Al's stint with the Hawks was like Bootcamp...now he's back home in Indy..

The Hawks could've and shouldve gotten more then that. I just want to know, why didnt they want him back? He is young, and one of their few scorers. Are they trying to get Greg Oden or something?

Eric Cartman 08-17-2006 05:38 PM

We should get at least 2 first round picks, like for the Joe Johnson deal.

The Deal Is Dead

kobedaman24 08-21-2006 01:03 AM

Yeah I know, but everybody ncluding me thought it was going down.

bigboi_baller 08-21-2006 12:51 PM

Al should take the latrell-spreweel-i-need-to-feed-my-family-approach and start complaining to the media in hopes of speeding this team up. I feel horrible for little baby harrington

9spurs 08-21-2006 02:12 PM

Warriors are going to nab him now

kobedaman24 08-21-2006 02:57 PM

I hope the Lakers do.
