How good will Emeka Okafor be next season

Obviously last season wasn't great for him, first looking unimproved and then getting hurt, but the future is still bright for him and he has potential to be awesome

He'll be good as long as he doesn't twist his ankle again. He's a double double machine.

Meka has the potential to be an all-star next year if he can just stay healthy and consistent

I have high expectations for him. First of all his impact will be determined by 2 things his playing weight and if he can stay healthy. Last year he was too heavy (which may have factored in his inability to stay healthy). We want him at about 250-255 down form 270 last year. Also is the hope that he doesn't tweek his ankle again and his old back problems don't act up again (and since they haven't since his Junior year at UCONN that may not be an issue)

As a fan my views might be a little off but personally I'm expecting big things. I hope he starts from us at the center position, which allows us to be a run and gun team and gives him some more freedom on D. At the 5 I could honestly see him being an all star. His defensive presence I expect to go up from being just good/very good to being among the elites in the league and I expect a 12-13 rebound year. Scoring wise anything above 14 points is cake, and he can get those off garbage points and points off offensive rebounds.
