Re: Round 1: #2 Pistons vs #7 Sixers

The announcers talked about the Piston players recieving a packet of 270 pages of scouting reports on the sixers. I wonder if they all really read all of it.

The Sixers are a decent up and coming team and could steal a game or two this series if the Pistons aren't careful. However I think the Piston's depth is just too much. Maybe next year if the Sixers had a low post presence like Okafor or something they would pose a threat but as of now they are a limited fastbreak hustle team. Sheed and Maxiell should have a field day down low.

detroit's young talent is not much worse than philly's. sure iguodala is better than any young player the pistons have, but i would take maxiell, johnson, stuckey over young, smith, williams 7 days of the week.

The Sixers play exactly the type of chaotic no-game-plan basketball that gives the Pistons fits at times. That said I think they woke the Pistons up by beating them in the last two meetings.

Philly is likely to get at least one or two in this series.

Most boring series.

If the Pistons showed up every night, they have the personnel to make it a fast series but the Pistons get complacent and can very well drop both games in Philly…

I am confident that the Pistons should win both games at the Palace (I'll be in attendance at game two) but I am confident Detroit will loose game 3… The Pistons have to have the worst record in game 3's in the playoffs since 2002 :banghead:

If the Pistons don't turn the ball over a lot, and they usually don't....beating Philly should only be a matter of playing the entire game...no lazy play. Philly brings it the entire game, they are a ball of energy.

This series could be boring, or NOT....it all depends on which Piston team shows up.

We all know the Pistons are going to win, but im rooting for Phili. They are one of the most underrated teams in the playoffs.

the pistons should win in 5 or have a complete sweep.i dont think the sixers can win 2 games against this team.tayshaun prince is usually a "sixer killer".sixers usually have to put iguodala on him,and his length is just too much
