Shaun Livingston may be awesome someday
The kid shows major flashes of big-time skills, every now and then
When he's focused and feeling the flow of the game he's very dangerous. He still looks shaky at times, and I think its mostly because he's a "rythym" guy. When he sees how the game is being played he knows how to make the right choices because of his court vision and athleticism. I think in a few years he'll be a top point/combo guard in the league. Its nice to see him go most of this year without any serious injuries. He still needs to get stronger but he should be okay.
Can pass, can't shoot. I have to agree, a rythym player. He is still young, has alot of time to improve.
His offense is still pretty raw but he has all the tools to be a great PG. He has tremendous court vision and ball handling ability and above average defense. Add an outside shot and some strength and this kid is the future of the league

I agree... but thing is, as a point guard, it is his job to create that rhythm :) |
true i think he should be the starter next year. although he doesn't have the offense game as a cassell he has the defence to shut down opposing teams PGs

i love his court vision and defence, offensively he knows how to pass the ball his shot has improved from a year ago hopefully he keeps improving on it. great player down the road good job on the clippers drafting him

Livingstick
Needs to add some bulk and durability for next year. Again working with a future NBA coach in Sammy :D will help his game expand in 2007. Sammy is the key to his development.
he will DEFINITELY be a TOP POINT guard in the NBA within the next 2-4 years. Whether or not he can become a HALL OF FAME calibre player (the potential IS there) is the real question.
GO SHAUN LIVINGSTON!
Wholl be better in the future: Shaun Livingston, Sebastian Telfair, or Josh Smith?
Bear in mind, the kid was born in September of 1985...he can't legally drink yet. His body will continue to fill out over the next few years and his confidence will grow under the tutelage of coach Cassell. He needs to work on his outside game but he's gonna be $$$$ soon enough. Take that to the bank.
josh smith and telfair dont have as much potential as shaun livingston has.
I see Livingston as a player who can average 14 ppg and 10 apg per game. Basically a steve nash type but with better offensive moves. I hate nash |
for sure he's gonna be good one day, i mean he's already good and he is still a kid a good 5 years he can even be an allstar!!!!!
