Rashad McCants
Is there any recent news about how McCants is recovering? I'm trying to work on valueing rookies for my draft and I don't want to rank Foye too high if he's probably only going to start the first half of the season.

McCants will be back around 2nd week of January I heard. But probably wont play full time standar minutes for the whole season

I did read an article in the paper last month. That he's doing very well post surgery. And eager to get back in there. He wanted to get on the floor quick, but he was told January. I think that 2nd week of January is what the article said too. I know Casey was quoted in it saying that McCants was in good spirits.

He has the same injury that Amare Stoudermire had last year, so he should problably sit the whole season and come back in 2008.

He has the same injury that Amare Stoudermire had last year, that's why he should sit the whole year and avoid get even more injured.

he doesn't dunk that much... so he probarbly won't get affected much... STAT should dunk less...

Awful injury. Foye better have an immediate impact

IMO he will have an immediate impact. He's the top ranked rookie after a great showing in the summer league and making a strong case for ROY. I wonder if we just got the next Lebron James?

From the man himself
For those curious about how McCants is recovering, here is a clip from McCants himself.

If that link doesn't work try this one.
It should be the top podcast.

McCants says he is recovering really well and could be ready in November. He also says they are all playing it safe with his injury and that he might not be back until January.
