Derrick Rose NCAA TOURNEY STATS
 

Everyone talks about how amazing Beasley stats were. They were amazing. But the lack of respect that Derrick Rose is getting from Bulls fans in this forum are crazy. Does no one remember him and his team dominate the NCAA tourney before choking it away to Kansas? Rose was the only reason Memphis had a chance at winning the game against Kansas. Let's look at his stats from 6 March Madness games.

6.5 rpg
6.0 apg
1.2 spg

Now if anyone had better individual stats in the tourney besides Curry's scoring average I'd like to see it. Beasley and K State lost 2nd round, Rose and Memphis basically cruised to the championship and came extremely close to winning it all and should have.

Rose dominated the tournament and I would rather take his stat stuffing play across the board than Curry's 25 to 30 ppg average he had in the tourney.

Beasley might be a tad better from the get go, but understand Rose is the player with the most potential. He can become Chris Paul but taller and stronger with ability to play well above the rim.

when a game is down to the wire, you want the ball in your best players hands, in the nba when your best player is a post player he needs to get fed the ball, usually if you don't have no body in the perimeter most teams are gonna double team, or try to prevent that post player in getting the ball, when the best players your gaurd than he can dribble out of a double team, or find that one open person during a double team... blah blah blah

Once the bulls start making trades to make room for there next player. It will be alot easier to tell which direction theyre going in. Both players are gonna be great.

Rose was with Memphis. Meaning he had a hanful of other NBA players on his team. And the CUSA player of the year in CDR.

Beasley had...Walker.

And as a Kansas fan, should of won the Championship? Kansas led the entire game until about 8 minutes when Memphis took the lead. Then Kansas started fouling, and just like the Memphis everyone knew couldn't make free throws - Kansas hit the shots they needed then dominated over time.

Yeah, Kansas should have won the NCAA chip, you are absolute joke Kaptain. Memphis choked like crazy missing free throws, and a prayer 3 by Chalmers got you to overtime for the win. But i don't wanna talk about that game, Kansas is homosexual along with all it's fan, someone like you that would jump on Hinrich's D if it were in front of you.

Memphis is full of NBA players. Well projected to be drafted this year in the first 2 rounds are 3 memphis players and 2 K-state players. You obviously cannot see how much better D Rose made every player on memphis look especially CDR, who won't even be drafted top 20, and Joey Dorsey who wouldn't of scored much if it werent for Rose setting up easy dunks and Oops.

Rose carried Memphis to the national championship game but all you can say is look at his team... thanks for more discrediting of Rose's game.

Memphis would of gone to the Sweet 16 without Rose. They were a solid team before they got Rose.
