If he was in his late 20's we could take a chance on him....but unless he takes really low money we can't afford the risk.....it is in no way worth a chance of a meager reward.
Actually, looking at Pau, his size/length and his skill set.
It's pretty clear that all you have to do is to reduce his minutes and he can be about just as effective in the half court offense.
Quality play for 30-36 minutes a game. Can play the PF or Center position.
Any General Manager that doesn't wants to get fired would probably offer him more than 10 mil.
Whether or not his style would fit into their teams game plan, that's another story. But certainly a player who can adjust to just about any half court offense.
