yeah, they do grind it out on the defensive end, but the offensive game has been ramped up in a big way over the last few years. they run more fast breaks, they're taking full advantage of slashing with two of the most high octane and exciting players in the league, parker and gino. and they knock down the 3 ball as good as any other team in the league. say what you want about bruce bowen, the guy makes the best players in the league work that much harder, thus making them look that much better when they prevail.

That's true. With the emergence of Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli you see way more fast breaks off of turnovers. AND you have Tim Duncan who is a great passer, so he rips down a board and send a pass up court. It is much faster than most people think.

Plus solid defense is fun to watch, and so is Tim Duncan backing down like the entire opposing team.
