Bucs are fun, and should compete, but they haven't won 10 games in six years, and even at 9-7 last year, they were STILL outscored by their opponents. The Lions were 9-7 too, and they also were outscored by their opponents. The Texans (my team) were also 9-7 and were outscored, but they had an elite defense that kept them in games. The Bucs and Lions, don't.
The Panthers should win that division every year, just like the Texans should (and have) won their turd division every year.
on offense the falcons have the mvp at QB, a top 3 overall WR, two excellent backs, an above average OL, and several other quality role players. their defense isnt that scary but they arent terrible either. even if they lost their "most important piece" (lol), they still have more talent than any team in the AFC south.
i am not sure why the bucs record from 6 years ago is relevant for todays team. their offense looks absolutely stacked right now and their defense has some big time talent too.
the saints are probably the weakest link in the division, but they have a top 3 QB in the league (FAR better than any QB in AFC south for sure) and they are always a dangerous team.
the panthers obviously have a ton of talent too
QB is the most important position in the league, and aside from Jameis every QB in the NFC south has won either regular season mvp or superbowl mvp... when was the last time that an AFC south QB won any award whatsoever?
Two out of the last four superbowl contenders came out of the NFC south... when was the last time the AFC south produced a superbowl team?
edit: The texans dont win their division every year. the texans have won the past 2 years, but overall the colts have won more in the past decade.
