As one of the resident ISH old farts I can attest to how hard it is to stay fit as you get older. Like others have said cutting out sugar and junk and limiting alcohol to the weekends is a good start. At some point you have to add exercise to the mix. I do cardio 2 days/week and lift 3 days/week. I've also found that cutting out as many carbs as possible helps keep the calorie count down. Simple things like taking the bun off a burger or using a low carb wrap instead of bread for a sandwich really work.
