We got the conference finals with Amare grabbed around 6 boards / game. I don't see it as a major problem. Hopefully, he fits in well and stays at the top of his game.
Amare got points in the paint though, most in the league. Replacing him with a jump shooter and not improving your board work is a recipe for disaster.
