I do agree that there is a certain level of vanity for someone to have surgery especially if they are already good looking.

However our society places a huge deal on looks, men and women can earn good money and make careers out of showing of their body.

That being said some people do take it too far and the importance of looks is out of hand, in England I remember a few years ago that a recent study of high school girls said they would rather be a glamour model over any other career.

A greater percentage of girls would rather spend hours making sure their make up and nails are perfect then save a life as a nurse or educate children
