Police officers and law enforcement officials are the oldest "gang" on the planet bro. They've been shady, corrupt and like this since they first were formed....the thing is though, within the last 15 years or so, we've eased into an age with more cameras, and video access all over the planet...so with that, we're now ALL getting to pass this info around faster now, than ever before.
Back in the day though, it was word of mouth, AND our word, vs their word.
