I've been there twice, pretty fun and safe. There are clubs all over, depends if your looking for low key bars or full on dance clubs. There's a section of town where alot of nightlife and restaurants are, but I can't remember the name. Also, there's Brava nightclub in the El San Juan Hotel. Don't know about now, but it was the hottest club at the time when I last went there. It's upscale though (well as upscale as a PR club will get) so be prepared to spend money and if you have no girls with you, get ready to stand in line or tip the door guy. Your best bet is to call them ahead of time and reserve a table to get on the list. That way you'll skip the line and it's pretty easy to get girls to chill with you if you are buying bottles.

The hotel also has a casino if you get tired of the club.

besides that, I HIGHLY recommend taking a trip out to the bio-bays. They are PR has some of the largest of these in the world, it's really cool.

"Hidden along the Caribbean coast is one of the most spectacular Bioluminescent Bays in the world. The mysterious blue-green light is created by micro-organisms which thrive in an environment uniquely suited to their needs. A trip into the bay on a balmy night is a magical experience. Fish flash by in dark water, and a swim is like floating through stardust." - Captain Sharon Grasso

Island Adventures Biobay Tours offers nightly excursions aboard our electrically powered double-pontoon boat through the amazing waters of Puerto Mosquito in Vieques Island. Our bilingual guides explain the fragile ecology of the plants and animals of the bay, give interpretive star lectures, and then park the boat in an area of high bioluminescent concentration, giving visitors the chance to swim with the millions of glowing creatures.

Please check our Moonwatch Calendar for the best dates to visit the bay.

have fun!
