That's not true. Sarver/Kerr gave Nash his choice. They were willing to trade him if he wanted to go anywhere. Nash wanted to stay. He still wants to stay. Mgmt was loyal to a fault. Amare wanted to leave. He wanted to be the focal point of a team. He wanted to be the leader.
not really...amare wanted $100m guaranteed and if sarver would have offered that he would have easily stayed. I doubt it had anything to do with being the man.
