This is from the Rival's site today:
Apparently USC is not going to wait around to see if recently decommitted five-star point guard Brandon Jennings decides to come back into the fold. Instead, the Trojans secured commitments from three 2008 prospects, including four-star point guard Angelo Johnson
A Minneapolis native, Johnson stirred up recruiting circles with his inspired play for Stonridge Prep in California. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound point guard is the No. 79 ranked prospect in the Rivals150 for the class of 2008. However, if Johnson gets a qualifying college prep test score, he will man the point for USC next season.
Also committing to USC today are four-star forward Demar Derozan
and his travel team running mate Romeo Miller
"They are both excited," said Miller's father and travel team coach Percy Miller. "It's a good situation and the program is doing nothing but growing. Romeo has always liked USC, and now they have turned it around from being just a football school to being a football and basketball school."
Derozan is a 6-foot-5 small forward from Compton (Calf.) High School with exceptional athleticism. He has a knack for creating shots off the dribble and his feel for the game is improving.
Miller, a 5-foot-10, 160-pound point guard, averaged 19 points, five assists and two steals per game as an all league player at Beverly Hills (Calif.) High School.
Derozan averaged 25 points and eight rebounds per game as a junior.
