The problem with letting Banic go is simply because of money. If Fischer leaves (I'm sure he will), we need to sign an starting PG and C. And it's not like Blums is good enough to start either.
On the other hand, we already got Hervelle, which Katsikaris seems to like more than Banic, so I guess Banic won't be the top priority.
That said, he's the player most loved here, so I hope he stays.

Since you have the Greek connection going....(even though Katsikaris wrecked Pappas),

I would make a suggestion for a Greek player. Vassilis Kavvadas. Sure, he can probably only play 10 minutes now in ACB or Euroleague, for a team that has aspirations like Bilbao.

He plays about 10 minutes now in Panionios, which to me is easily the 3rd best team in Greek League, and has a lot of veteran players on the roster. But, this kid is really tough.

I think, with the right work ethic and coaching, this kid could be a freak in a few years.
