Ha! He won't be remembered as that because the leadership of other top players was in general poor and sometimes in the negative. And his dominance that year against the elite teams was very impressive despite the majority of the other top players playing with guy(s) that were among the best at their position and his newly formed team going thru crazy injuries and overcoming almost in proportion as those superteams underachieved. And all of that stuff was echoed hard the following year, especially, against the other MVP candidates that got first place votes.
