Default What's with this myth that Shaq didn't have a long period of time as a superstar?

I keep hearing this on ISH, often by Kobe fans as a reason to rank Kobe over Shaq, but I've heard it from good, unbiased posters as well, so I'm not sure why people keep thinking this. Shaq was a great player for a very long time.
