I don't get doing a vote now... Some people have already taken advantage of waiver order. What's preventing a person who is in the 6-12 range in the waiver order from just voting to change it because they may not be able to grab the next available stud off the wire? While those of us who have been cautious about not wasting our waiver spot are punished for not using it before it is changed to some other system?
The whole reason the roster restrictions were done away with was because the group seemed to think that keeping backups at a position where you don't feel it necessary was stupid. The whole argument was, "if you don't have a backup and need one, you should be able to take that risk and load up on one position."
Now, that is impacting the waiver system? Because people might have to pick up a TE when they didn't think ahead about having a backup and loading up on one or two positions? F#ck that.
