There's a difference between not playing well and what Sanchez has delivered. He's posting Tebow-esque passing stats and looks as bad as he has at any time since his rookie season.
It would be ridiculous to argue that it's a good situation for either. But they've got a team that can't run and two QB who can't throw. They'd be fools not to try the one who can run.
