But, I'm interested to hear why you feel McHale was the better shot-blocker. Their blocks-per-game statistic is identical (1.7) and both players did/do a exceptional job of being mindful to try and keep balls they blocked in-play. Even when the outcome isn't to their desire, the effort is noticeable.
Well Gasol also plays 5 more minutes a game. And I think McHale smushed enough people that they would spend much of the time trying to not get blocked.
