Nah, in the 1980s the GOAT was NOT just a mere calculation of titles achieved. All the GOAT lists during the 1980s had Oscar Robertson and Jerry West extremely high. It wasn't until Jordan set the standard of 6 rings, 6 FMVP that rings became so important.
