Memphis is just a bad matchup, and combined with playing a thriller the night before, and the way the game was officiated, even on both sides,it was pretty much expected.
JR's attempt at the ball was hardly flagrant, and how do they review the play and keep it as such?
And Melo and Gasol were battling all night and it was phsyical, but it seemed these inexperienced refs went textbook on it.
Wally and hahn was saying that it was a young group of refs that still weren't familiar with reffing these mismatches, pointed out that walt, during the game said, do the refs even know melo plays defense now? and should have been able to change the style of calls with the mismatches on the floor
