Use the jab to keep Guerrero at bay, staying on the outside etc.
He would try to punch out of the clinch instead of holding on as well and waiting for the ref to break it up.
Berto seems more than comfortable slugging and dirty boxing on the inside. He invites that sort of fight by allowing it to occur.
The guy is very talented but his shortcoming's ultimately fall on his paper chin, and his lack of defense/ring IQ.
So yea the ref was horrible, and Guerrero fought a pretty dirty fight, but Berto didnt do himself any favors...
Yeah, his defense does suck, which is why he tried to go with the Mayweather shoulder role. But that shit didn't work for him, knocked down twice.
Weird thing about Berto, his chin get's stronger as the fight goes own. Ortiz knocked him down early too.
