I realize this is an old thread, but this came up during a search for something else, and for the sake of accuracy, this is actually talking about Connie Dierking
For one fleeting moment, Connie Dirking was a Bill Russell, shoving his (Dierking's) 6-foot-9 frame and 222 pounds high into the air to block a shot by Wilt (The 7-Foot Stilt) Chamberlain.
The Warriors were playing Philadelphia, not Boston, so it couldn't possibly have been referring to Russell. Russell was actually 225 pounds in the '63-64 season:
