i think we are held to a higher standard. even if its just by new yorkers, which gets echoed by new york media. everyone knows NY is one of the hardest towns to be a star in. we feel we live in the best city and we feel we deserve a team that competes.
i think the point that someone was making was that that "arrogance" is less prevalent among Nets fans, which some people view as them having a humbler and more realistic fanbase, and others view as being defeatist and bandwagoning.
