the spurs most likely weren't winning the championship anyways, and furthermore they peaked too soon (february). Parker hasn't been playing phenomenal like he was earlier in the season either, and that's partly what made the Spurs "deadly". When he comes back down to earth and plays like the player he is the Spurs are just a great playoff team – but not Miami Heat kind of greatness. as a life long spurs fan, at this point I'd just be happy and content with the season if Tim wins DPOY. He deserves it. I agree losing Jackson hurts the Spurs depth, but he hasn't even been playing that great and I've noticed him and Pop barking at each other more than normal. Maybe a natural separation. I don't see this as "Pop's fault", at all.
