The most encouraging thing about this article, I guess, -- if you're a Browns fan -- is the front office's apparent infatuation with Mingo.

This wasn't a case of... "Well, Jordan and Ansah are off the board, so we'll take the third best pass-rusher in the draft."

The Browns' plan on draft night was very simple... If Mingo was there at 6, take him. If not, trade down. For an old draft-day pro like Joe Banner to be that confident about a player shows maybe we have something special in Barkevious.

Of course, there is no certainty with any draft pick. We've learned that the hard way many times over. But, it's good to hear they landed the one guy they wanted at the top of this draft.
