Default Florida State extends Leonard Hamilton through 2016-17 season

Leonard Hamilton reached an agreement with Florida State on a contract extension that will keep him as the coach of the Seminoles through the end of the 2016-17 season, the school announced Wednesday.

Hamilton has been at the helm since 2002, leading Florida State to four NCAA tournaments and six seasons of at least 20 wins...

Florida State took a step back last season, struggling to an 18-16 season, finishing sixth in the ACC. The Seminoles also missed out on No. 1 recruit Andrew Wiggins; his parents attended Florida State, and the Seminoles were thought to be the favorite for his services.
