Its definitely a point to consider. However Kaman is only 31 years old and last year he was facing injuries as well as relatively short playing time. I am sure he agreed for it to be a 1 year contract as well so that he can play hard, and earn a bigger contract from a different team next season. Those are players I'd watch out for. Either way, a low-risk deal for the lakers.
