He mentions a Pau for Deng trade. I hate it, with a passion. But anyway, the part about trading away Steve Nash got me thinking...

Nash
for
Kirk and Rip

Nash suddenly becomes another creator and is arguably the best shooter in the league (Durant, Nash, and a select few specialists are in this discussion). Yes, we love the D of Kirk, but since our D is very much team oriented, and works well with even Boozer in the lineup, I think it can sustain Nash playing 25mins a night.

Rose/Nash/Teague
Butler/Snell
Deng/Dunleavy
Boozer/Gibson/Murphy
Noah/*ideally Dalembert on a MME deal*

With this roster, I'd still advocate for trading Deng, but we wouldn't need the same type of player back. It would still be ideal, but not as necessary.

RIP isn't apart of the team. He was released. The team also only has enough for min deals to fill out the roster.
